Brazilian guitar virtuoso Marcelo Nami & Israeli expermental jazz composer Amir Weiss’ Guitar Duo was formed in March 2017. Together they created their own musical language, which is derived from the musical worlds of both guitarists, Brazilian music, Jazz, Rock, Israeli music, Flamenco, improvisation and musical freedom.

The duo plays original music, and creates a unique connection between Brazil and the Middle East. They perform special arrangements of Brazilian modern music by composers of the new generation such as Egberto Gismonti and Hermeto Pascoal, renew traditional Choro pieces and play surprising arrangements of Israeli music.

During August 2019 the duo went on a tour in Brazil, Marcelo’s homeland, the duo performed in many Festivals including -
